Introduction to Open the Book
Please contact Katherine if you’d like to attend.

Have you ever thought that children in schools might be missing out on what the Bible has to show them? They could go through their entire school life without ever learning about Adam and Eve, Noah, David, Jonah … or even the life of Jesus and the stories of the New Testament.
OPEN THE BOOK offers a free programme of themed and dramatised Bible stories, each around 10 minutes long, that fit comfortably into assembly times in schools.
Our teams of volunteer storytellers use drama, mime, props, costume – even the children and staff themselves – to present Bible stories in ways that are lively, engaging, informative … and great fun for everyone involved!
So now, thanks to OPEN THE BOOK, children in schools will have the opportunity during Collective Worship to discover all the wonder and wisdom that the Bible can offer!
Using The Lion Storyteller Bible and format created by Open the Book, presenting Bible stories has never been easier or so much fun.
If you can get 8 interested people, Katherine will happily come and do an introduction evening for you.
Having heard and read all about it, if you have a team ready to be trained, contact Katherine katherine.lyddon@exeter.anglican.org 01392 294937 to arrange a date and time convenient. The full training is 4 hours.
